I hear you on the tofu juice issue, Amanda! It's a pain. That, and the plastic tubs fresh pasta come in - if it's tortellini or ravioli, I cannot get 'em in the pot of water w/o splashing myself w/boiling H2O. The trials . . . I like the garlic peeler you speak of, but got rid of mine b/c I just smash the clove w/the side of my knife. One tool down!

Cool! I think someone should now investigate why in 2012 commercial tofu is packaged in such a way that you are GUARANTEED to squirt "tofu juice" all over yourself and kitchen. And that you can not resale the wet mess either. Seems like there has got to be better packaging for this yummy staple.
But I digress... cool kitchen tool? I happen to love this little plastic tube I have that you stick garlic cloves into, roll it on the counter and voila! the garlic skins are gone and the little cloves are ready for choppin'.
