[...] I’ve posted before that I have a lot of kitchen stuff. Like so much that I have a giant Ikea armoire in the basement to house pie plates (I think I have 6), special pans (bundt, train cake pans, you get the idea), multiple waffle irons (yes, multiple), cookie cutters, etc. etc. etc. So I’m loathe to buy a single-use tool – there are usually other ways to accomplish the same task (I’m looking at you, mango pitter!). But then there are some essential single-use tools – the egg slicer comes to mind. And now, the TofuXpress. [...]

I absolutely love your blog and find a lot of your post's to be just what I'm looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content for you personally? I wouldn't mind creating a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects you write regarding here. Again, awesome website!

Most grocery stores and even Costco also have preloaded disposable salt and pepper mills so it's easier than ever to use fresh ground. My pepper mill (and salt mill) of choice is the Peppergun by Unicorn mills. It has 2 handles that you squeeze together to grind. So many people who have seen them at my house go right out and buy them. In fact, I originally saw them at a friend's house and went right out and bought them. I think I have all but 2 of your items...I don't have a scale and I use a handheld reamer to juice citrus. Oh...totally agree about the sheet pans. You can get them CHEAP at China Fair in Newton.

No one needs three waffle irons. It's ridiculous! The George Foreman's a goodie - our panini press is also a grill (Breville as well - can you tell I love the brand?). I hate cleaning it, though - no removable plates. That's my #1 piece of advice on those things! Does your GF have removable plates?

I love that you have three waffle irons! I only have one ... somewhere ... not sure where, though. I think I may have left it at my parents house one time, because I have a lack of space in my apartment.

Because I have such a tiny space, I don't know if I can pick 8 tools! I will pick one very important one though ... my George Foreman grill. I use it almost everyday. Chicken breasts, grilled salmon, burgers, sandwiches ... you can do it all. Love that thing!
