Sarah! This was amazing. I added green beans, and it was fabulous. I am so glad I found your blog!

My only question was this: did you have curdling in your yogurt when you added it to the recipe? Wondering if omitting the lemon would fix this issue. BTW, I am going to try and make it one more time and then do a post on it. Would you like to do a guest post on SP&P for this recipe? Or I could do a post and call it “Semi-Sweet’s Butter Chicken,” your call.

@Jessica – I haven’t, always done something on the side. But I think pretty much anything would go – spinach, green beans, etc. The only thing I’d be cautious about it making the mixture too watery – there’s this delicious richness to it as it is . . . . but let me know if you try and if you have success!

I am enjoying a left over bowl of this deliciousness as I type! I love that my house smells like a real Indian restaurant and that I have an easy recipe to use when I want Indian without all the fattening! We paired ours with fresh green beans from our garden and it was perfect. Thanks!!

I have to admit, when I read the title I was expecting a lot more butter so I am pleasantly suprised to see how light this sounds (though I shouldn’t be surprised given it is your site). I definitely don’t use my slow cooker nearly enough so I’m thinking I might need to pull it out more often now that the weather’s heating up.
