@Caprice, we use Kleen Kanteens - made of stainless - for our reusable bottles. They're easy to wash, have no lining (with linings can come suspect materials and more chemicals) and they hold up well to lots of abuse (summer camp, anyone?). @Kelly - you might want to try one of these - worst that happens when you drop one is a dent. Cheers!

Thank you for sharing this. Food storage containers seem to have uses even outside of the kitchen. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the tip. I have to admit I am terrible about this kind of stuff. I tried to do all glass for awhile but determined I was just too clumsy. (I had a lot of broken containers!) Just looked at the bottom of mine and it seems there is a 5 so I guess I am kind of okay.

Thank you so much for this info. Was just discussing with a friend the other day and didn't know. I'm getting Culligan water installed as we speak and I'm so excited to be rid of all the plastic water bottles our family goes through each week! I want to invest in a supply of good water bottles that we can keep filled in the fridge for grab and go and then refill after. Do you have any recommendations?
