Adorable. I love that you two cook together. Soooo cute. I remember cooking with my mom a bit when I was a kid and wish we had done it even more. I love that she wanted to make fettucine carbonara because I never made it until this year and I’m 27!

Ok – this is inspiring me. I have not been cooking with my kids, much as I would like to in my fantasies – because the process turns into such a frustrating, slow experience. But you have reminded me that the process is a process, and that if I submit to it now, payoff will come. So I will encourage my offspring (ages 8 and 3) to join me in the kitchen and create!

My daughter has recently turned the corner at age 11, I love cooking with her, such great bonding time! Dinner looks delish!
