So interesting. We were just talking about wiring our house for speakers (which I’m guessing is a wireless system?) And haven’t done it yet…and perhaps will not! Luckily, our microwave broke in early summer 2008 and we never replaced it–it’s a good cookbook shelf now. (It’s actually very easy to have no microwave–even with reheating.) I have a friend with one of those meters and perhaps I will borrow it from her. We have my same digital clock radio from 1983 (it’s been on it’s last legs for many years), and when it finally dies, we’ll go with battery alarm clocks. Again, thanks so much for posting this information and the list!

Btw, the corded earphone headset (for $2.50 or something) for iPhone is great; no one has complained about not being able to hear. Sometimes, it’s hard to answer quickly. But, not a big deal.
