Enter the First EVAH Semi-Sweet Giveaway!

It’s spring, and the produce is only gonna get more plentiful, my friends. Do you need some cooking inspiration?  The co-founder of Earthbound Farm Organics, Myra Goodman’s first cookbook, Food to Live By: The Earthbound Farm Organic Cookbook, offers over 250 tempting recipes, plus full-color photos and practical information on ingredients, shopping and more. Woven through the book all are Myra’s own family stories, from the birth of Earthbound Farm to her thoughts about personal food choices and the way even small changes can make a big difference.

I love cooking with organic healthy foods. I have a 6 yr old, and now that I am a mother. I am EXTREMELY aware of exactly what food we putting into are bodies, and oddly enough it is not that easy to find a cookbook that tells you what you want to know. Your book is great! thanks for the opportunity.

Oh man, this sounds great! We’re trying to get closer to all organic whole foods these days. Is it silly I get proud of myself for soaking beans overnight and cooking my own, rather than using canned? This cookbook would be a big help to our healthy eating plans!!

I am not a very good cook but have been trying to cook more and trying a variety of veggies but never really sure what to do with them. This cookbook looks like it would be a great resource. I think this is the first time I’ve been required to read legalese to enter a cookbook contest, but I think that’s terrific. You can take the lawyer out of the courtroom…I “Liked” Semi-Sweet eons ago, so that’s already taken care of.

I’d love to win this cookbook because I’m always on the lookout for good, healthful, whole foods recipes.

So happy to see you blogging again. Hope you’re feeling well.

welcome back to food blogging! I have been trying to cook with more vegetables/legumes, less meat – I have a feeling that a cookbook like this would give me good inspiration.

  • http://www.essentialchef.net Kathy Haynes

I, of course as a chef, love to cook but even I need inspiration, hence my bookcase full of cookbooks (which I actually do read cover to cover sometimes). I have several clients who are eating all organic and I try to do it too!

  • Heather Buchfirer

I would love to cook healthier for my family. My husband thinks vegetables are “weeds”. But if they are prepared well he actually eats them. Also, I want to find new recipes to make for my kids who are the pickiest eaters, but getting better. This cookbook sounds great; however, money is really tight as my husband is starting an artificial grass business and we are no where close to being in the “green” yet.
